Interior design blogs are one of the newest most popular ways to find what designs and styles you like. I visited the top 100 interior design blogs to get an idea for current themes and trends around the world. I think interior designers chose to create blogs to show their ideas give and to show people what they can do and their styles. Its and easy way for interior designers to get clients and its easier for them to have their ideas shown instead of trying to explain and have them visualize it. I chose my top three favorite blogs. The first blog I chose is

This is from a blog called fresh home. Today Freshome is the go-to destination for anyone who is passionate about design, architecture, luxury, travel, lifestyle, and creativity in the home. I chose Freshome becaue I love the idea of it looking like a cabin and being way out in nature on a lot of land. The four season porch that is all windows is something I would love, it can be your place to relax and look outside and enjoy the beauty of nature. The living room and kitchen being open is a great idea for people who love to entertain friends and family.

The next blog that I chose is called simpliefiedbee.com I chose this one because I love neutral colors and a simple clean look. I am obsessed with having fire places and the grey tones, This blog shows you not only cute designs but good ways to organize things and make it have a clean look.
The finial blog i chose to look into is one called cococozy and it is designed by a guy named coco, he likes anything that has something to do with house and home. This blog provides lots of inspiration for people who want to design their home and for people who just love interior designing. I chose this one because again I like the neutral colors and that there isn't a lot of clutter it looks neat and clean and that is what I like. It would be an easy place to relax.

Out of all the blogs that i visited i would have to say that Fresh home was my favorite just because of how much nature was around the neutral color and there wasn't clutter of things and not many colors. The two trends that i saw most was the pops of colors things are very bright and colorful now and the other one that i saw was crazy stairs. A lot of blogs had hanging stairs that didn't look very stable!

Mood Board

Assignment #1- Bedroom
Reflection
This week in interior design we learned about mood boards. Mood boards are a way for you to show your idea of things you like. It is a way for interior designers to show you what they have in mind for you also since visualizing can be hard finding items to show you and give you and idea is very helpful. The board I made really reflects my personality becaue I dont like a lot of color i find it to be overwhelming I like neutral calming colors. When I took the HGTV quiz it told me my style was classic casual which I thought was spot on. I created a bedroom that I would love to have because it would be a nice and easy place to relax. The total cost for my room was well over 4,000 dollars the three most expensive things were the wallpaper, the carpet, and the bed. I think that this website can be very helpful for individuals trying to design a room or interior designers to show their ideas to clients. It is an easy way to show what you like.
